So you are after a LG monitor ... well the M227WD is a fantastic choice.

LG have produced a striking LCD TV which screams elegance and quality. The screen offers a full 16:9 / 1920x1080 resolution in a compact 22" display and the brightness, sharpness and vividness of the colours has to be seen to be believed. The M227WD also caters for all viewing needs; aswell, as a PC monitor it can act as a TV thanks to built in free-view and of course it's great for playing consoles such as Xbox 360 and PS3.

The connectivity the M227WD offers is usually reserved for more expensive products and includes the likes of D-Sub VGA, DVI-D, S-Video component, 2 x scart, 2x HDMI etc. There is also a DVB tuner for both obtaining digital freeview and radio stations (the automatic tuning is simplicity itself). In addition there are also a large number of  picture and audio settings available to create your optimal viewing picture. Although the built in 3W speakers are decent enough there is an audio output enabling you to connect with your existing speakers to create a real cinema experience.
